Trees at risk include five on the Plant Heritage 'Threatened Plants Project'

Highways England is planning on widening the M25/A3 close to RHS Wisley.

There are two possibilities for providing the space for this and one involves taking part of Wisley and destroying a belt of 500 trees which is not only integral to the site but which helps absorb the emissions from traffic and noise pollution.

The RHS has a web page explaining the proposals and the impact they would have.  This page includes a place for you to sign a petition against the proposals which would affect Wisley.

You can find all details and the petition at https://www.rhs.org.uk/gardens/wisley/Articles/Wisley-under-threat-from-A3-plans
