Caldwell-Still Growing

The Caldwell research project continues with great vigour.  Presentations by Barbara Moth, Joy Uings and Janet Horne brought CGT members and guests up to date with an enlightening progress review.  So much has been done and achieved, but as always there is still more to do.  Discussions centered on future activities and probable priorities.  This included ideas for engageing different age groups, 20th century oral history, use of the website and social media, and transcribing remaing ledgers and adding more visual images (there is no order to these!). The event took place at the Lion Salt Works near Northwich - which is well worth seeing.  Our February talk will take place there giving members an opportunity to tour the museum.
