Memorial to James Joule

A ceramic memorial commemorating the work and discoveries of James Prescott Joule, physicist, mathematician, brewer and resident of Sale, was dedicated on 12th April in Worthington Park, Sale. 

The work is by CGT member Gordon Cooke in recognition of 200th anniversary of Joule's birth.
