CGT at RHS Flower Show Tatton Park 2014

Once again, CGT produced an outstanding display at the show: an oversize picnic basket, part of the Cheshire's Gardens of Distinction carnival themed exhibit which won Best Show Feature. It celebrated not only our tenth anniversary, but Cheshire's historic, modern and lost or derelict gardens.

Designed by Christine Wilcox-Baker with help from Ruth Brown, the display was built on a budget of just two hundred pounds with a miscellany of loans from Fryer's Garden Centre, Chelford Farm Supplies, Plantation Nursery and Ashley Reclamation, plus construction help by volunteers from CGT and Reaseheath College students.

Gaining new friends helps to make all the hard work worthwhile.  And the unusual design attracted many curious visitors.
