Garden Visits and Talks

In summer 2020 it has not been possible to organise our normal programme of visits because of the spread of coronavirus and the  resulting restrictions, particularly on group visits. However the team is hoping to be in a position to start visits once again in the summer of 2021, restrictions permitting.

As well as the garden visits, a series of talks have been held each year over the winter months. At the moment we will not be able to have talks in village halls but we can provide online talks. We are very pleased to provide details of our programme for this coming winter, starting on 9th November, as follows:

Monday 9th November,  David Cash, An Architect’s Dozen

Monday 23rd November Ed Bennis: A Factory Garden

Monday 11th January Simon Gulliver, John Claudius Loudon, botanist and garden designer, and his wife Jane Webb

Monday  22nd February Martin Fish, Behind the scenes as a RHS Judge at Chelsea and other important garden shows

Monday 15th March, Margie Hoffnung, The Gardens Trust's work and its on-going development

All these talks are free and will be held virtually through the medium of Zoom, starting at 2pm and lasting for about an hour and half.

If you would like to attend one or more of these talks, please email us at events@cheshire-gardens-trust.org.uk or use the link on the CONTACT US tab. Please indicate which events you wish to attend and you will be sent the zoom link in advance of the appropriate meeting. We look forward to hearing from you.

With all best wishes from The Events Team
